Counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. We all know how relationships can be complex and messy. Sometimes it can feel impossible to take one step forward without taking four steps backwards. Sometimes things outside the relationship mess things up, and at times it's key factors within the relationship. Counseling can help when a couple is going through difficult transitions, communication challenges, or seasons of conflict.
Online sessions are held from the safety of your own home with at a time that is convenient for you through our easy scheduling platform. We provide psychotherapy using a confidential, secure video platform and use the same techniques and therapies that we would have used in person while engaging with you via the teletherapy platform.
The initial session(s) focuses on conducting a comprehensive psycho-social assessment of your history and current symptoms in order to get an understanding of how your circumstances are impacting your ability to function day to day. This process allows for us to determine an appropriate course of treatment using effective strategies.
Individual Therapy is used to improve overall well-being and resolve personal, relationship problems, and/or sexual issues from the individual perspective. Individual therapy can be helpful for people who are single, newly dating, or for those whose partners are not ready or unwilling to come to couple’s treatment. Similarly some clients seek out individual therapy as it provides more individual attention and privacy for your concerns. Together we can figure out what might be getting in the way of you having the life or relationship that you desire but cannot currently achieve.

Especially to those who have experienced a great deal of hurt in their life. Self-compassion, self-respect, and healthy self-care are key components in adulthood. When these skills aren’t nurtured or acquired, they may become replaced with survival skills aimed at proving one’s worth to others because they can’t see it for themselves.
